Kapota (n.) = Pigeon
Asana (n.) = Posture
Well, after a long time I am posting another entry. All these days I have been busy perfecting the new Asanas I have been learning. I hope to publish them soon.
I found out after so many years that I am alive that I am not really very good at anything save one. That I can go on and on deeper and deeper into something that catches my fancy. I don't get bored through the long duration of my search. Some call this ability as the ability to do sadhana. Since now I know that I am good at it, and I derive much pleasure doing so, let me do only that. Let me not take anything for granted, which follows therefore, that let me earn every thing I have.

You have given quite an exhaustive lists of asanas for back pain.I am trying them. But along with back pain also comes the shoulder pain which again restricts your capability of stretching. Why don't you illustrate some exercises for shoulder pain.
This will particularly help those who have to work on computer for long time.

Well Sandeep,
There are dozens of simple exercises, not only Asanas that will give relief from shoulder pain.
Which is the reason why the subject has not been dealt in this blog.
For example, the bowlers' maneuver. Asana's: there are countless - the kavandhasana in the side bar, the Bharadwajasana for example.
Durga,
You are a genius! What a body you have man, flexible as rubber!
You know Durga, I am relieved of my aches and pains in the leg, by just following a simple formula.....dip your legs in bearable hot water for 45 minutes. The water will get cold at some time but keep legs dipped in. Circulation will improve and so will the pain vanish. simple! tai na?
Does that work for the sciatica too? Then one need to be in waist-deep warm water :). for sciatica I found the chakrasana, Dhanurasana, and Setubandhasana working wonders. It worked well for my dad! When he was getting tired of taking the injections to have the pain relieved.
Wow, Durga! You're in great shape...
